The Prevention Department provides prevention services in school and community settings. Located at Catholic Charities Community Services Gateway Center on the grounds of Newburgh Free Academy
and is part of the Department of Prevention and Adolescent Services.

The Prevention Department provides prevention services to the Newburgh Enlarged City School District and Student Assistance Services to the Pine Bush School District.
TEAM Newburgh
TEAM Newburgh is a local coalition serving the Newburgh Enlarged City School District. The coalition works to strengthen collaboration among all facets of the community and lower substance abuse among youth.
TEAM Newburgh is funded by a Drug Free Communities Support Program grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration. TEAM Newburgh is housed at the Catholic Charities Community Services Gateway Center on the Grounds of Newburgh Free Academy.
