Catholic Charities Community Services of Orange County, as one of the human service agencies of Catholic Charities of The Archdiocese of New York, is committed to building a compassionate and just society. Catholic Charities Community Services of Orange County serves the homeless, the hungry, the emotionally and physically handicapped, immigrants, the marginalized and vulnerable of Orange County. We collaborate with parishes and non-Catholic and Catholic partners. We help people of all religions who are in need.
Service Overview
Provides a comprehensive network of services in the field of alcohol and substance abuse prevention and treatment.
Combines creative and developmentally appropriate learning philosophies for preschool children ages two years, nine months to five years.
A full service employee assistance program is a cost-effective, confidential service that assists businesses, organizations and their employees and family members to address problems that interfere with productivity and the overall health and well-being.
Provides eviction prevention, other housing-related assistance through a collaborative effort among CCCSOC, the Orange County Dept. of Social Services and a number of other community-based agencies.
Our hope is that through this outreach initiative, the parishes of Orange County are better able to minister to and with the Young Adults and Youth of Orange County through nurturing, supporting and coordinating leadership among the parishes and through sharing resources.
Catholic Charities collaborates with parishes in providing services to those in need. We are available to help parishes assess needs, evaluate existing service programs, recruit and train volunteers to meet parish needs and facilitate services to the parish from both Catholic Charities and other community based services.
Provides a variety of bilingual services to individuals and families that includes: information and referral, case management/service coordination, emergency assistance for rent, utilities, transportation, food and clothing (limited by available resources), entitlement assistance and advocacy.
